The stripper today at the pub started by taking of her clothes. She continued by taking of her skin. She finished by laying her organs on the table in front of me. They were all rotten, and I was very excited. I ran away to my wife I never really loved, and we had the best sex ever. With violins in the background. I asked her to talk in French, like the striper talked (before she presented me with her tongue). It excited me even more. With a piano in the background. I asked her to whisper to me in a way that I won’t understand, she whispered in French. Just like the stripper did. With subtle drums in the background. After a while we stopped, there was no point. But the music continued. And it was grand.
Encre’s Flux was released on Clapping Music on 2004, and is definitely one of the best albums of the past few years. There post-rock electronic music is a master piece in classical proportions, and each track on this wonderful record is a wonderful creation digging deep into the mind of the listener.
For the lack of posts of the last few weeks, here are some videos I gathered:

Spirits of the forest unite! Men has come with axes and saws to pluck us out of our home. Men has come to ruin. Men has come, so unite! Let all the floating ghosts and living ones join hands, dance and sing against the destruction. Alas, what is that? Am I delirious? Men has joined us. They sing. They dance. Around the fire camp they are just like us. They have found their place among us animals. Part of us. Part of the collective. Animal Collective.
On Feels Animal Collective stretch their theme of ghostly forest campfire dance a bit further. It’s ghostly. It got the fire. It got starry night. It got the full moon. It got haunting voices with primal sounds. It’s the essence of Animal Collective, and it’s much better then what they did until today (with exception of their Prospect Hummer EP with Vashti Bunyan which was brilliant). There are some samples of some of the songs on the record’s page at FatCat Records.

And at the beginning it was all landscape. And the instruments ruled the earth and the air was full of music. And all was an infinite landscape of music, stretched as far as the eye can see. And all were pleased, but god. And god looked around and wanted to make something new. And there was Glitch. And god loved Glitch. The sound of Glitch was beloved by god and pleased the lord and made him happy. And god wanted the world to be a happy and pleasing, and god wanted to share the beauty of Glitch. And god looked around onto the infinite landscapes and said: “Let there be a click”. And all halted, and a click came, a short click, and the clack of the silence followed, and all were happy and the instruments resumed their landscape. And god conducted another click, and the instruments were pleased and sang, and so on… god clicked and the instruments rejoiced. And the land was happy and lovely and I was happy.
Murcof was always a monumental artist. Every piece of music that he created during the last few years was a remarkable ground breaking achievement, and the now he shattered the spheres yet again. His new project was supposed to be a corporation with a philharmonic orchestra, but unfortunately this didn’t came to be (I can only hope that this kind of record will be created in the future). However, Murcof create a marvelous continuation to Martes, a beautiful piece both exciting and soothing.
Remembranza was released on Leaf (BAY47)on October 3rd and already reached number one on Posteverything’s sales chart.
