I tried a while ago to create a web site to spread the word about music I like. My belief is that if more people will hear of indie music, on all its variants, the world will be a better place. Actually this is true to just about anything. If people will divert from main stream pop culture in their own ways (and every one has a way – a tiny one) then we will all live in a better and more satisfied universe. I am quite naive, maybe it’s false naivity, but let me enjoy the doubt.
Anyway, dealing with that site turned out to take too much time, so I took it down. Now I am trying this, maybe this platform will be a better way to ’spread the word’. I also have a very selfish reason for all of this (as if there are unseflsih reasons) – if more people will hear about the music I like, more people will buy the records, the artist will earn a nickle here and there, and will make more music.
